Discussion:
SVG Plugin upgrade breaks SVGs!?!? (Build 96?)

Hello all,

In the midst of a crutial demo, my SVG plugin appeared to "update"... (from 3.0 build 94). Now, every SVG I load, renders with glitches, no ECMAScript support, and errors about things like "title" not being defined.

If I try to right-click and choose "About plugin", I get an access violation error, thus I don't know what build I actually have.

Can anyone else confirm this behaviour? Did my plugin auto-update? If so, can it be turned off (should be by default).

Thanks.

PS The following details may be of use to those trying to debug this:

OS: Windows XP SP2
Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 (although Firefox is also installed)
SVG Plugin (was 3.0 build 94... not sure now)

PPS Even the samples on <http://www.adobe.com/svg/> fail for me now.

TIA,
Steve

There haven't been any updates from Adobe in quite awhile. Maybe it was an IE update.

In any case, the fix is probably to uninstall and reinstall SVG.
