ASV font problem in linux

hola,

just installed fedora core 5 on a new machine,
all was working fine in fedora core 3 with mozilla,
but now, i can't see any text appearing
in any svg..
( any font missing? )

anybody have an idea of what it could be?

ola,

the problem seems to be fixed,
it's only because the font paths has changed
between X11R6 and xorg,
so, you should do that on your new systems
using xorg :

mkdir -p /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/
ln -s /usr/share/X11/fonts/* /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/

( /usr/share/X11/fonts or wherever are your fonts )
